Ichalkaranji, 20th January 2020 – Smt Akkatai Ramgonda Patil Kanya Mahavidyalaya in Ichalkaranji recently hosted a One-Day Lead College Workshop focused on the Essentials of Information Literacy and E-resources. The event aimed at enhancing students’ and faculty members’ understanding of digital resources and the importance of information literacy in the modern academic landscape.

The workshop saw an insightful session led by Dr. Prakash B. Bilawar, an esteemed resource person with significant expertise in the field. His session covered various aspects of information literacy, including how to effectively locate, evaluate, and use information in the digital age, as well as the importance of e-resources in research and learning.

The event was chaired by Hon. Principal Dr. Anil Patil, who emphasized the significance of digital literacy and its growing relevance in academic and professional environments. Dr. Patil expressed his belief that fostering information literacy among students is crucial for their academic success and future careers.

The workshop was organized by the Lead College Committee of the institution. The committee was led by Pallavi Mirajkar as the Coordinator, who ensured the smooth conduct of the event. The Convenor, Minaj Naikawdi, also played a key role in managing the event’s logistics and ensuring a productive learning experience for all attendees.
